Okanagan Live Virtual Campus Tours Shadowing Coordination

Assisted in organizing a specialized training project that offers UBC Vancouver Campus Student Ambassadors the opportunity to observe Okanagan campus tours. This porject aims to enhance their understanding of the Okanagan campus experience, fostering greater awareness of the academic, social, and community opportunities available to prospective students across both campuses. The program strengthens cross-campus collaboration and resource/ knowledge exchange.



Your Roof, Your Rights: Working Towards Student Housing Justice

This event provided a space for students from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences, insights, and resources regarding housing justice for students. Event included a trivia activity, small group discussions, and networking opportunities with the Social Justice Centre and Migrant Students United at UBC.



What is Fast Fashion?

A research initative that led to the creation of an educational resource. The resource provides an introduction to the fast fashion industry and the environmental and social injustices cost of having a reliance on such an unjust and unsustainable system.



U.S Info Days Event

Prospective students from the US and their families joined us this fall to discover the University of British Columbia. Attendees toured our stunning Vancouver campus, engaged with current students and advisors, and learned about undergraduate programs, admissions, scholarships, and student life. The event featured a guided campus tour, interactive panel discussions, and opportunities to connect with other US-based prospective students.



Pacific Museum of Earth Ambassador Adventure

This activity included a tour of the Pacific Museum of Earth as part of Ambassador Adventures Programming. This series allows Student Ambassadors to learn about parts of campus and UBC.



Belkin Art Gallery Ambassador Adventure

Organized and led an Ambassador Adventure to UBC’s Decolonization Tour at the Belkin Gallery, exploring Indigenous art and the themes of settler colonialism, reconciliation, and decolonization.



Your Roof, Your Rights: Working Towards Housing Justice for Students

Organized a workshop under the UBC Centre for Community Engaged Learning in collaboration with the Social Justice Centre and Vancouver Tenants Union. Over 40 participants engaged in discussions on housing security, availability, and affordability, featuring a presentation, Q&A, and reflection session to foster awareness and community-building around housing justice.
